IMG-20160131-WA0010
4Real records artiste, JKL (Justin Kingland), aka Dr Money drops  his new single titled ‘prayer’ today 3rd February 2016
The song is dubbed “Prayer” and it’s a long, meditative release. jkl4real said it’s not from his upcoming Album, but instead “just some things on my mind.” Through its lengthy playtime, the song employs a number of different genres and sounds.
Last month, jkl4real hopped on stage for a surprise performance with Ras Kuukus hit single “Nuff Gyals” tune. Now an unexpected but very welcomed  track has been released by jkl4real .
The Inspirational Banger will first be played by 89.9Pluss FM on their morning show and later on Reggae Embassy with DJ Double Richie. Next would be 107.9 YFM who will play it on their mid morning show with DJ Ganj and Trigmatic. Finally 103.9Hitz FM would play it on their After Drive Time with Dr Pounds
”Prayer ” is the second studio single recorded by Nigerian(Malaysian) singer and songwriter Jkl4real. The song released Today .3February 2016, Under 4Real records. Following the release and international success of jkl4real’s second studio single this year , he had considered making a successful deal out of this single .According to the singer, the single’s title is a reflection of his when he was in comma and what God revealed to him
JLK is a renowned reggae dancehall artiste who has done collabos with Sizla Kalonji and Elephant Man. He has also rocked the same stage with super stars, like Rita Mali, High Jahman, Gregory Isaac, Damian Marley, and Nigeria’s Majeck Fashek amongst others.
The Prayer is the key crooner is also a label mate with Ras Kuuku and their record label, 4Real records is based in Malaysia and the United States.
The song builds more gradually to the center than “My Own”, but like this track, his chorus is huge. He gives it  all in the hook as a passionate line like “prayer is the key” demands. The Nigerian(Malaysian) raggae  dancehall musician’s new single  will be his second GH release, so maybe he’ll win more new ears with this one.
His Inspirational new single, “Prayer”, is below:

Ras Kuuku and JKL4real set to release “NUFF GYALS”

IMG-20160126-WA0003Fast-rising Ghanaian dancehall and reggae artiste, Ras Kuuku and JKL4real will release a hotly anticipated single exclusively for their fans this week.

It’s still a big deal even if you’re not a particularly big fan of JKL4real or Ras Kuuku.

Ras Kuuku’s hit single, titled ‘NUFF GYALS’, will stream on Y FM Online Radio and will be released exclusively on 107.9 Yfm with Trigmatic on the Mid-Morning Show.

“NUFF GYALS” is a masterful move by 4Real Records that might make a lot of people consider switching to listening to songs of Artist under 4real Records.

This single is going to be an absolute monster since Ras Kuuku is no stranger to sudden releases. His last surprise broke over 25 thousand streams in 3 days, beating his own record set in 2006.

4Real Records has managed to surprise fans with a long-rumored single between two of popular and most sparingly hot artists.

They’ve released a single that’s a surprise and hotly anticipated at the same time. That’s marketing savvy that should have the people of Africa scratching their chins.

Nobody knows for sure the size or terms of Ras Kuukus’s deal with 4Real Records, it could be zero or it could be $10 million, but this single release is a guaranteed hit.

Complain all you want about exclusivity in music, but 4real Records has managed to spin a first single release in 2016, into something a bit bigger and shared. As a fan of music, it’s thrilling.

Christmas makeup tips for a flawless holiday season

Everything you need to be stylish and chic through all the festivities!

Christmas season is almost here and with it comes the usual busy social calendar of office parties, galas, family gatherings, getaways and much more! We know how important it is for you to look your festive best to ensure you turn heads at all these social outings. No fear, Maybelline New York has you covered with the hottest tips for festive, chic makeup looks to keep you stylish and on trend for all the events this holiday season! As the world’s number one makeup brand, we also know just how to help you take all the latest trends from the catwalk to the sidewalk – or in this case, to the yuletide – this season, so let’s get started!

1. We’re starting our tip list with the basics – foundation! Much like a building, if you don’t have a strong foundation, your finished look is just not going to be strong. Test your foundation shade on your jaw line to ensure you have an accurate match and when

applying, blend all the way down the neck for a smoother finish.

2. Next up is a quintessential Christmas favorite, the bold red lip! Although we love this look for so many other occasions (date night or when you need to look like a powerhouse at the office…) it’s also perfect for Christmas occasions – just think of how perfectly you’ll coordinate with the green and red décor! Be sure to find the right shade for your skin tone – darker skin tones should opt for colors with an orangey base to make a brighter statement, and lighter skin tones can look for colors with blue undertones for more drama.

3. A smoky eye is a timeless classic and will always be sure to be a hit at any party this holiday season. Use black eyeliner to line your eyes on both the waterline and on the eyelid. Be sure to choose mascara with black hues to add to the drama and lengthen your lashes, making your eyes stand out and appear bigger. Throwing in a nice silvery eye shadow or even some gold sparkle on the eyelid will only add to your festive aura.

4. So for those of you who aren’t all about the red lip need not miss out on the lipstick fun. We recommend swinging to the opposite end of the spectrum with a subtle, warm chocolaty nude lip reminiscent of a lovely cup of hot cocoa! This look is great paired with subtle eye makeup for a day at the office or doing some last minute gift shopping, but for the party where you need to turn heads, play up your eyes to add a bit of drama to the toned-down lip.

5. The holidays are perfect for finally sitting down to practice that ever-classic and devastatingly chic trend, winged eyeliner! This look is best achieved with a gel eyeliner as it glides more easily and allows you to create smooth, precise lines on your eyelid. Start from your inner eyelid and create a line just skimming your lash line and then extend that line from your eyelid to make your eyes appear bigger and add a bit of retro glamour to your Christmas look this year. Using your finger to pull the eyelid skin tight helps avoid gaps or uneven lines. Throw in some volumizing mascara to add some further glam and make your eyes pop even more!

6. Nothing says you’re excited for the holiday festivities betterment than a little shimmer! Try looking for a nice glittery eye shadow, or add a bit of sparkle to any lipstick by adding a touch of ColorShow lip gloss, where the subtle sparkle will put you in the Christmas spirit!

Now we’ve given you all the tools for you to have a fun, fashionable holiday season while looking like a super star for all those timeless Christmas pictures!

The Maybelline New York range includes all your essentials for the holidays, from foundations perfectly matched to your specific skin tone, to lipsticks that can withstand the heat and mascaras and eyeliners designed to make your eyes pop! The products are available at over 100 retailers nationwide, so stop by your nearest location and get your gifts lined up for the glamorous women in your life, or get yourself equipped with all the tools to shine like the star atop the Christmas tree this holiday season!

VLISCO image

Vlisco, the leading textile manufacturer will on Saturday, September 5, 2015 launch the first Connoisseur of Style Day at the Vlisco shop in the Accra Mall and West Hills Mall aimed at protecting and educating consumers in identifying an original genuine African print versus a counterfeit one.

The Day is an extension of an ongoing anti-counterfeit campaign, which Vlisco launched in 2013 to put consumers in a position that they are confident they are purchasing an original Vlisco fabric which has gone through multiple processes to deliver premium quality to their customers worldwide.

Mr Stephen Badu, Marketing Director for Vlisco commented: “Fake fabrics make up about 60% of all textiles sold in Ghana today because counterfeiters have gone to great lengths to replicate authentic fabrics which makes it difficult for consumers to identify real from fake Vlisco. The only way consumers will know is after they have spent their money and bought the fabric before experiencing the vastly inferior quality of the fake fabric”, he added.

“We at Vlisco will use this day to educate consumers so that they will be empowered to make an informed decision when making that all important purchase,” Mr Badu stressed.

The course of the day that consumers will experience will include, Bring their Vlisco fabrics for authentication; Learn the 4 key steps to expertly identify genuine fabrics; Enjoy free give-aways and Receive a list of approved retailers where they can purchase authentic fabrics.

Vlisco’s heritage is quite unlike any other as since 1846, we’ve created unique textiles influencing the fashion landscape in West and Central Africa. This bond between women and Vlisco has continued to deepen over the last century and Vlisco is now woven into the African Culture. A bond that is sure to endure for centuries to come.
